Meaning of God

An injured dog
Howls in the lane
But it does not pierce
Anybody’s heart

Huge vultures
Flying around
The dog searches for a savior
In the crowd nearby

His skin is wrinkled
A bone sticks out
Stomach bulging
Sunken eyes
Frothing at the mouth
Flies on the foam
He looks at the crowd
Seeing the indifference
And howls again

A beggar passing by
Comes to him
Tears a strip off his tunic
And binds the broken leg
Feeds him some leftovers
And they walk away together
From now,
The dog is also his companion
Here
Who is God?
